The Genesee Valley Club (GVC), a historic Platinum Club of America, features an extensive racquets program that is central to its mission of providing a world-class membership experience in Rochester. The Genesee Valley Club is a unique city club in a country setting. The premier private club experience in Rochester is a special place for our members, their home away from home.
The Club was founded in 1885 by pillars of the Rochester community and has drawn its membership for 130 years from outstanding leaders in business, industry, professions and government. The Club has served as a facility for sociability, fine dining, and racquet sports for families who have bonded through friendship and common interest.
A full-time professional sports staff services the fitness and sports facilities, which consist of three international squash courts, Rochester's only doubles squash court, four outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts, an indoor tennis court which is also serves as two pickleball courts, two platform tennis courts, an outdoor pool, a group exercise room and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
