Position Overview:

Stables Tennis Center is seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Tennis Professional to join our team. This individual will assist with tennis instruction, program development, and overall tennis operations under the guidance of the Head Tennis Professional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tennis, a willingness to teach 30-40/week, strong teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire players of all ages. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing private, semi-private, and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults.
• Support the Head Professional in planning and running tennis programs, clinics, and camps.
• Aid in organizing and officiating tournaments, leagues, and social events.
• Contribute to promoting the tennis center, attracting new players, and maintaining client relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and professional environment for all players and staff.

Qualifications:

• RSPA, USTA or USPTR certification required.
• Must be a US citizen or have a work visa in hand.
• Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, strategy, and rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience teaching or coaching players of all ages and abilities.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and during tennis events as needed.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.

Compensation:

• This is a non-salary position, but the right individual could earn $50,000-$70,000 annually.
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
• Opportunities for growth and advancement within the Stables Tennis Center team.
