About Bentwood Country Club:
Bentwood Country Club, awarded the 2017 USTA Featured Facility of the Year, is a premier full-service country club located in San Angelo, Tx. We boast exceptional amenities including 10 outdoor lit tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts, a fitness center, swimming pool, restaurant, and an 18-hole golf course. With vibrant junior and adult programs, we are dedicated to providing outstanding service and fostering a love for tennis and pickleball among our members.

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Professional who is passionate about tennis and dedicated to enhancing both our programs and business operations. The ideal candidate should be professional, enthusiastic, punctual, and skilled in working with individuals of all ages and abilities. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Plan, organize, and conduct tennis lessons for all ages and skill levels, with a focus on juniors. This includes private lessons, clinics, camps, and hitting sessions with higher-level junior players. Occasional adult clinics may also be required.

• Junior Program Management: Works with the Director in organizing and overseeing activities for the junior tennis program. 

• Assist in organizing social tennis and pickleball events for club members.

• Ensure exemplary customer service for members and guests, fostering strong relationships.

• Maintain tennis courts in a safe and professional manner.

• Occasionally handle repairs and restringing of tennis equipment.

• Promote USTA events and obtain certification as a USTA Official.

• Develop an understanding of pickleball rules and gameplay.

**Qualifications:**

• Aspirations to obtain a RSPA or PTR certification

• Equivalent of 3 years teaching experience in lieu of certification, or college tennis experience will be acceptable.

• UTR 10+

• Self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about tennis, particularly in developing junior players.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Eligibility to work in the U.S.

**Compensation:**

• Competitive base salary, hourly rates for lessons and programming, and a percentage of personally taught lessons.

• Estimated total compensation range: $65,000 - $80,000.
