Position Overview:
EDGE Tennis is seeking a motivated and energetic Full-Time Tennis Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tennis, a willingness to teach 30+ hours per week, strong teaching and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and inspire players of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing private, semi-private, and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults, clinics, and camps.
Aid in organizing and officiating tournaments, leagues, and social events.
Contribute to promoting the tennis center, attracting new players, and maintaining client relationships.
Ensure a safe, positive, and professional environment for all players and staff.
Job Qualifications:
Experience teaching/coaching players of all ages and abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of modern tennis techniques and strategy.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and during tennis events as needed.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
RSPA, USTA Coaching, or USPTR certification preferred
The EDGE is a locally owned Vermont business serving Vermonters for 60 years; home to four multi-use locations in the heart of Chittenden County. The EDGE has approximately 8,600 members ranging from children to adults in their 90s.

EDGE Tennis provides exceptional tennis programming, including private lessons, adult and junior programs, competitive opportunities, and a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
