Founded in 2007 by former WTA professional Brie Rippner, RippnerTennis is dedicated to making tennis accessible, inclusive, and affordable across Travis and Williamson Counties. Operating at public facilities with no membership fees, we host over 700 classes weekly for players of all ages and skill levels.
Position Overview
We are seeking an operationally independent, energetic Branch Manager to lead daily operations at one of our premier tennis centers. You will oversee court programming, facility management, program delivery, and staff leadership while ensuring our core values of health, community, and inclusivity are reflected on every court.
Key Responsibilities
- Program & Schedule Management: Oversee execution, enrollment, ratios, and fill rates across junior/adult semester programs (JSP/ASP), camps, clinics, and mixers.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Manage coach schedules, conduct new coach training, and evaluate drill quality, clinic energy, and punctuality.
- Coverage & Operations: Maintain full court and front desk coverage. Step in to cover classes or lines when necessary and manage Manager on Call (MOC) duties when scheduled.
- Financial & Administrative Standards: Review semi-monthly payroll and courtsheets (16th & 1st), monitor pro shop inventory/expenses, prevent revenue leakage, and complete regular facility audits and surveys.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Actively promote local programs/events, keep marketing materials current, and deliver gold-standard customer service.
- Incident Escalation & Safety: Promptly document incidents and communicate policy, cleanliness, or safety concerns to senior management in real time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Tennis Coaching Background: Active coaching experience; ability to evaluate drill mechanics, clinic progression, and coach energy.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record leading staff and managing operations in a sports, recreation, or facility setting.
- Operational Independence: Ability to run daily operations autonomously, delegate effectively when off-site, and hold staff accountable.
- Financial & Scheduling Acumen: Comfortable handling class structure setups, waitlists, payroll reviews, and inventory controls.
- Communication & Professionalism: Clear, timely communication with players, staff, municipal partners, and leadership.
- Flexibility: Available during operating hours and scheduled Manager on Call (MOC) weekend/event shifts.

Her vision was to break down barriers and make tennis accessible, inclusive, and affordable for individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Today, RippnerTennis proudly serves the greater Travis and Williamson Counties, with facilities at the South Austin Tennis Center, Pharr Tennis Center, and Williamson County Tennis Center. These venues are open to the public with no membership fees, offering over 700 classes each week at reasonable, a la carte prices.
Our coaching team consists of elite professionals with unparalleled expertise, enabling us to cater to individuals of all ages and proficiency levels, whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned athlete, aged 3 or above, playing for social interaction, fitness, or competitive enhancement.
