Bangers Pickleball is seeking an experienced Director of Pickleball to lead all pickleball programming and operations, drive participation and growth, and deliver exceptional player experience.
Pay Range can vary depending on experience level with a combination of base salary and incentives.
Responsibilities
Pickleball Programming & Instruction
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve programming for all skill levels, including Open Play, leagues, tournaments, clinics, camps, lessons, and special events.
- Provide private lessons, group instruction, clinics, and other player-development opportunities as needed.
- Recruit, schedule, mentor, and manage pickleball pros, instructors, and related staff.
- Maintain a balanced programming calendar that maximizes court utilization while meeting member and guest demand.
Leagues, Tournaments & Events
- Plan and execute leagues, tournaments, mixers, clinics, and other pickleball-related events.
- Coordinate pickleball programming for corporate outings, private events, and facility-wide events.
- Develop relationships with pickleball organizations, professionals, and community partners to bring high-quality events and programming to Bangers.
- Ensure all events are organized, properly staffed, and deliver an exceptional player and guest experience.
Membership & Player Experience
- Build a welcoming, inclusive, and competitive pickleball culture consistent with the Bangers brand.
- Maintain an active presence with members and guests and respond to player feedback, concerns, and programming needs.
- Develop programs and initiatives that increase participation, attract new players, support membership growth, and improve retention.
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pickleball department and hold staff accountable for performance and service standards.
- Manage court schedules, programming, staffing, and instructor availability.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, restaurant operations, events, and marketing teams to maximize facility usage and create a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure courts, equipment, and pickleball areas are clean, safe, organized, and ready for daily play and events.
Monitor participation, program performance, court utilization, and revenue to identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement.
