Head Racquet Sports Professional – Tennis & Pickleball

Position Overview:
Green Valley Swim and Racquet Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, is hiring a Head Racquet Sports Professional to lead tennis and pickleball lessons and clinics for both juniors and adults. This role works closely with the Director of Racquet Sports to support the club’s growing programs in a fun, friendly, and team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead private and group tennis lessons for all levels, including juniors (beginner to tournament level), adults, and team practices

• Run or assist with pickleball instruction for players of all ages

• Help organize and coach junior and adult clinics, social events, and seasonal programs

• Assist with basic court upkeep and maintaining a clean, professional setting

• Support the Director of Racquet Sports with programming, planning, and day-to-day needs

• Be friendly, professional, and proactive in engaging with members

Qualifications:

• Some college or tournament playing experience preferred

• Previous teaching experience with juniors or adults is helpful.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude

• Ability to lead clinics confidently and work well with a team

• Must be comfortable teaching pickleball or willing to get certified in the near future
