North Hills Club, located in the vibrant North Hills area of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced, personable, and dynamic Director of Racquet Sports to lead its award-winning racquets program. Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Racquet Sports guides all daily operations for the club’s racquets program (tennis, pickleball, and padel), consistently cultivating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for members of every age and ability. The Director leads and supports a talented team of 16 racquets professionals, anticipates member needs, directs all lessons, clinics, tournaments, and events, and coordinates member engagement across every touchpoint. Collaborating closely with club leadership, the Director strives to continually enhance and elevate the overall racquets experience for the North Hills members.

On June 5th, 1961, North Hills Club was incorporated with a quaint clubhouse, three hard tennis courts, and a family pool in the newly developed North Hills neighborhood. Primary Responsibilities
The Director of Racquet Sports leads the creation and delivery of an exceptional member experience across all facets of the club’s racquets operations. This leader designs and advances a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-looking program that engages players of every age and skill level through instruction, social and competitive play, and signature events. Oversight extends to the care and presentation of the club’s courts, facilities, and grounds, ensuring standards consistent with a premier, platinum-level private club. The Director also champions a collaborative, team-oriented environment that inspires excellence, innovation, and pride throughout the racquets department.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is projected at $165,000 - $175,000, with a bonus potential of up to 15%, plus commissions from lessons and instructional programs. Additional benefits include employer-paid group Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, with spouse and dependent coverage offered at employee expense through pre-tax payroll deductions, and employer-paid group Life, Short-term, and Long-term Disability insurance; a Simple IRA plan with an employer match of up to 3%; vacation, employee meals, Professional Development Budget, Professional Dues, and Uniform Allowance.
