The Santaluz Racquets Center features five tennis courts and four dedicated pickleball courts, complemented by a vibrant men’s and women’s league program, a robust junior development pathway, and a culture that encourages both competition and continual improvement. The racquets community at Santaluz is active and diverse, with players regularly participating in local, regional, state, and aspiring national competitions. The Racquets Director at The Santaluz Club is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club’s tennis and pickleball programs. This is an opportunity for a visionary professional to elevate one of the region’s most active and growing racquets communities through exceptional programming, member engagement, and staff development. The position offers the chance to lead within a collaborative, high-performance culture dedicated to excellence in member service and lifestyle programming.
Lead all racquets operations, including tennis and pickleball programs, leagues, tournaments, clinics, and events.
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of tennis and pickleball professionals, attendants, and support staff.
Design and implement innovative instructional programs for players of all ages and abilities.
Manage racquets-related budgets, ensuring operational and financial success.
Oversee the maintenance and presentation of all racquets facilities in collaboration with the club’s grounds team.
Foster meaningful relationships with members, enhancing participation and building a strong sense of community.
Partner with the Athletics and Recreation Director and other department heads to create a seamless member experience across all club activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field (preferred).
Strong background in both tennis and pickleball operations, instruction, and program development.
Proven leadership experience within a private club or resort environment.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
USPTA and/or PPR certification (or equivalent) preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the needs of the membership.
