Position Summary
Eagle Watch Tennis Academy is seeking a passionate, energetic, and professional Tennis Coach to join our growing team. The Tennis Professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality tennis instruction to players of all ages and abilities, supporting our mission to promote player development, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for the game.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct private and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults at all levels.
• Assist in organizing and coaching academy programs, including Junior Development, High Performance, and Adult Clinics.
• Support USTA and ALTA teams with practices, match preparation, and seasonal clinics.
• Help plan, organize, and run in-house events, tournaments, and special programs.
• Provide excellent on-court energy, professionalism, and communication with players and parents.
• Promote programs, clinics, and membership opportunities to help grow the academy.
• Assist with racket stringing, pro shop sales, and member engagement when needed.
• Maintain courts and equipment in professional condition.
• Collaborate with the Director of Tennis and other staff to ensure program consistency and quality.
Qualifications
• USPTA or PTR Certification (or actively working toward certification).
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience preferred.
• Strong playing background (college experience preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, reliable, and passionate about teaching tennis.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by programming.
Compensation
• Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience).
