Job Posting: Tennis Professional

The Peninsula Racquet Club (PRC) is one of Southern California's most stunning tennis clubs, featuring breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Nestled on the cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the club offers a spectacular outlook over Catalina Island and the world-renowned Terranea Resort. PRC boasts 12 fully lit, newly resurfaced tennis courts, along with a state-of-the-art outdoor functional movement training facility.

We are seeking a full-time Tennis Professional to join our exclusive club and contribute positively to our world-class coaching staff. PRC provides programs for all ages and skill levels, from morning Marine League workouts to junior programs that nurture young tennis players from the grassroots level to national and ITF competitors.

Responsibilities:

•  Organize and conduct tennis lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.

•  Experience in coaching women’s Marine League and Junior Team Tennis teams is required.

•  Adjust coaching techniques based on players' strengths, goals, and abilities.

•  Collaborate with the Director of Tennis to organize clinics, lessons, and round robins.

•  Foster a love for the game and create positive social interactions with players, staff, and guests.

•  Contribute to building the continued success of PRC.

Qualifications:

•  Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.

•  Certification from RSPA or USPTR is required.

•  Excellent communication skills.

•  Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5 as a player; college playing experience is a plus.

Compensation:

Compensation will consist of an agreed-upon hourly rate for lessons rendered.
