Gina’s Tennis World is seeking a tennis professional who loves teaching tennis, working hard and mentoring players and is interested in biomechanics, physics and movement.

We seek a professional that wants to share their ideas and knowledge and is open to learning and wants to expand their own teaching skills while creating a fun learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teaching clinics to students age 5-80 at beginner to advanced levels.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Work with our biomechanics expert to develop new drills and techniques.
• Work in tandem with tennis director or other instructors in multi-court clinics.
• Operate Playmate ball machine and Ace Attack serving ball machine.
• Racquet stringing ability optional.
• Opening and closing facility as needed.
• RSPA or PTR certification is preferred.

Working Conditions

• 30+ hours/week of clinics including weekends for base salary
• Additional hours available for private lessons and coaching
• Future summer camp director opportunity 
• Housing on site with full kitchen and laundry as part of compensation
• Tennis club and apartment are walking distance to downtown Berkeley Heights and train station

Gina’s Tennis World has been owned and operated by Gina Genovese for 43 years.  The club is completing the construction of a third court and a new one bedroom apartment for a coach/instructor opening September 2026.  We want someone who wants to be part of our team and wants to continue the tradition and energy that has made Gina’s Tennis World a special place for our clients.
