The Role
The Padel Collective (TPC) seeks a full-time Director of Padel (DOP) to join the team on-site in Austin, TX by end of Q2 2026. The DOP will interact with Assistant Director of Padel, General Manager and Founding Team and should possess an early-stage growth mindset. The DOP will report to the General Manager (GM) and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of padel operations, including teaching classes, developing programming schedules, and managing day-to-day court activities. The job requires presence on-site either Saturday or Sunday and flexibility depending on demand. This is a rare leadership opportunity to shape the culture, quality, and future of padel in the U.S.

Responsibilities
Teaching & Programming
· Oversee all padel operations and work closely with the GM to ensure smooth club management
· Teach private and group lessons, lead clinics, and ensure top-tier instructional quality (28 hours/week maximum)
· Develop and manage padel programming including clinics, leagues, private lessons, seasonal camps, and special events, optimizing court utilization and revenue
· Organize and run tournaments, exhibitions, and social events
· Supervise, provide feedback and mentor Assistant Director of Padel
Operations & Administration
· Oversee court reservation systems, program registrations, and related financial tracking
· Support front desk operations and assist with Guest communications when needed
· Assist with club communications including social media posts, emails, and newsletters
· Manage pro shop operations and inventory with the GM
· Contribute to invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances
· Collaborate with the Team on programming calendars, closures, and special announcements
· Enforce club policies and procedures and support team development
· Track KPIs and report monthly performance metrics to the GM
· Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the GM
Space Oversight & Guest Experience
· Maintain playing areas, ensure courts and equipment are in excellent condition
· Foster a welcoming community identifying and building relationship with regular Guests
· Be visible during peak hours and build genuine rapport with Guests
· Ensure on-brand demeanor and our hospitality standards when interacting with Team and Guests
· Gather Guest feedback and always improve the collective experience
· Take ownership of club cleanliness, functionality, and appearance
Performance Metrics
At an early stage we expect the Director of Padel to grow the Active Programming Participants (APP) base through tournaments, clinics, private lessons and events. You’re the main Experience Curator and ensuring high retention rates and Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI) are key performance metrics to balance off the financial expectations. We are a team of high achievers and believe that results should be measurable.
Who We Are Looking For
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required
· Minimum 5 years of racquet sports teaching/coaching experience
· Padel Certification (PCR or equivalent) required
· WPR rating of 10.0 + or college tennis level playing experience required
· USTA Safe Play certification required
· Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred
· Proven ability to lead programs and coach players with high standards
· Proficiency in padel rules and instruction.

Compensation and Perks
Total compensation ranges between $90,000 – $130,000 and consists of:
