Position Title: Tennis Professional

Reports To: Director of Racquet Sports

The Tennis Professional supports the Director of Racquet Sports in delivering high-quality tennis and pickleball programming. This includes organizing and leading junior and adult clinics, private lessons, events, and tournaments. The role requires strong playing and teaching experience, professionalism, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive environment.
- College degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
- College playing experience or NTRP 4.0 level
- Minimum 3 years experience in a club or resort setting
- USTA Safe Play Certified
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Maintain USPTA or PTR membership
- Deliver lessons, clinics, and programs for all ages and levels
- Assist with junior programming and events
- Teach proper techniques, rules, and strategies
- Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment
- Provide excellent member and guest service
- Handle scheduling, communication, and billing
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute new program ideas
Requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, and handling equipment. Exposure to varying conditions and moderate occupational risks may occur.
- Valid Driver’s License required
- CPR and other certifications not required but beneficial
