Overview At Nicol, the Head Coach leads from the front, on-court, by example by delivering high-energy, high-quality coaching sessions across all ages and levels and holding players accountable to their development, and co-leading the coaching team alongside the General Manager.

What You'll Do
Act as a middle manager that reports to the GM and helps to lead the coaching team alongside them
Know every member and use those relationships to drive retention and programming uptake.
Own your programming schedule: push players through their development pathway, proactively book sessions, and convert maybes into members
Actively sell lessons, clinics, camps, and programs, through personal connections.
Recruit players through your network, at tournaments, and through community engagement
Co-own program growth with the GM: adult programming, junior pipeline, camp fill rates, and event participation
Help manage coach coverage and fill in for part-time coaches as needed and ensure programming continuity up to on court maximum.
Contribute to annual planning, SOP execution, and seasonal programming schedule
Represent Nicol on and off court with professionalism and energy
What We're Looking For
5+ years coaching experience, with demonstrated leadership of other coaches and implementation of programming for all players of all levels and ability to optimize
Track record of growing a program, not just maintaining one
Proven ability to sell and retain: you know how to hold a player accountable to showing up
Comfortable with Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and administrative ownership
High energy, consistent, reliable an A-player that players and coaches count on
Understands the parent relationship as much as the player relationship
Available evenings and weekends, 6 day work week Monday-Saturday
