Fairfax Racquet Club is seeking an energetic, dependable tennis professional to join our year-round coaching team.
The foundation of this hourly position will be regularly scheduled Junior Program group classes. The club will also help qualified coaches build and coordinate a schedule of private lessons, adult clinics, camps, and other teaching opportunities around those core hours.
This position is ideal for a coach seeking consistent programming hours and the opportunity to develop a substantial year-round teaching schedule within an active racquet club.
Coaches will have the freedom to bring their own teaching style and lesson ideas while remaining aligned with the program’s overall developmental objectives.
Ideal candidates will:
RSPA or PTR certification, college playing or coaching experience, and junior-development experience are preferred but not required.
Successful candidates must complete required background screening and Safe Play requirements.
This is a year-round, hourly position. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and teaching assignment.
Primary hours will come from weekday afternoon/evening and weekend Junior Program classes. Additional private, adult, and camp hours may be built around that schedule with support from the club.
