Greyhawk at Golf Club of the Everglades is a vibrant, upscale community in Naples, Florida, featuring five Har-Tru tennis courts, three pickleball courts, and three Har-Tru bocce courts. We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and service-driven Court Sports Director to lead all racquet and court sport operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an energetic professional committed to exceptional instruction, facility excellence, and outstanding member engagement.

Position Overview

The Court Sports Director oversees all tennis, pickleball, and bocce programs, events, and daily operations. This role manages instruction, staffing, marketing, scheduling, Pro Shop operations, and court maintenance, ensuring a world-class experience for Greyhawk residents and guests. The Director is the primary on-site leader for all sports court activities and plays a critical role in shaping the community’s active lifestyle culture.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

• Oversee all tennis, pickleball, and bocce activities, programs, leagues, and events.
• Maintain strong visibility and foster exceptional relationships with members and guests.
• Uphold all Greyhawk policies, service standards, and facility rules.
• Attend staff, committee, and Board meetings as required.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive annual calendar of sports court activities.

Instruction & Member Experience

• Provide high-quality private and group instruction in tennis and pickleball for all levels.
• Lead clinics, junior programs, exhibitions, mixers, tournaments, and social events.
• Support bocce programs with organized play, instruction, and community engagement.
• Promote programs and services to increase participation and increase overall court sport usage.
• Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, communication, and professionalism.

Facility & Pro Shop Management

• Ensure daily excellence of all Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball courts, and bocce courts.
• Oversee clay court maintenance, watering schedules, annual resurfacing, and equipment upkeep.
• Manage Pro Shop operations, including merchandise selection, pricing, sales, and racquet/paddle stringing - optional
• Maintain clean, orderly, and visually appealing sport court facilities - optional
• Update all bulletin boards, flyers, schedules, and community communications.

Administrative Duties

• Coordinate with the General Manager and Board liaison on operations and improvements.
• Partner with Lifestyle Director and F&B Director for events & support.

Qualifications

• USPTA, PTR, or international tennis certification required.
• Ability to obtain USA Pickleball/PPA certification within six months.
• Minimum 1 year of racquet sports teaching or industry experience (Director experience preferred).
• USTA 4.0+ playing/teaching skill level.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of racquet sports trends, equipment, and retail.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
