Empire Tennis Academy is looking for a dependable and punctual instructor to teach tennis and pickleball this summer. Hours would include limited camp hours during the weekday, and teaching group lessons in the evenings & weekends. There is a potential for private lessons, but candidates can plan on working 35-40 hours per week in organized group lessons starting in May or June, through half or most of August. Training will be provided where you will learn from the team that won 2024 USTA Eastern 10 & Under Program of the Year. We are searching for a coach that has taught summer camps before and considers themselves friendly, energetic, a team player, and has a strong work ethic. Applicants need to be sociable and approachable as well. Our team expects you to memorize curriculum and deliver drills and games as year round staff do.

Pay rates depend on your resume and experience You must have a UTR 6 or above, and completed at least one year of college. Candidates can expect 35-40hrs a week, $25-30/hr group lessons, and $35-40/hr on private lessons. You must have working papers, or Curricula Practical Training (CPT).
