POSITION SUMMARY
Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club is seeking an experienced and professional Pickleball Instructor to lead pickleball programs, leagues, and clinics. This role focuses primarily on adult programming with some youth instruction. Join us in growing our vibrant pickleball community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead pickleball programs, leagues, and clinics for adults and youth.

• Instruct participants in fundamental pickleball techniques, strategies, and rules.

• Teach group classes, private lessons, and workshops.

• Provide constructive feedback to support participant skill development.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

• Maintain class attendance records.

• Greet patrons professionally and with a positive attitude.

POSITION COMPETENCIES

• Thorough knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and safety standards.

• Ability to design and deliver effective clinics and lessons.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with staff, participants, and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Relevant certifications or coursework preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of pickleball teaching experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Outdoor position; must be able to work in varying and extreme weather conditions.
