We’re looking for a dynamic, community-driven Head Tennis Professional to help lead the next exciting chapter at the newly renovated Killearn Club. This is a rare opportunity to make your mark, elevating both tennis and pickleball programming while shaping an exceptional member experience.

Working alongside the Director of Racquet Sports, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving all aspects of the program, from innovative instruction and high-energy events to team leadership and meaningful member engagement. Compensation: An annual salary based on experience, plus competitive hourly rates for lessons and clinics (for both members and non-members), with strong opportunities to build and grow a steady clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership

• Assist in the development and growth of adult and junior tennis and pickleball programs.

Instruction

• Deliver high-quality private and group instruction, maintaining a strong on-court presence (approximately 90% on court, 10% administrative).
• Lead after-school programs and seasonal camps.
• Collaborate with the United States Tennis Association and local clubs to enhance programming and community partnerships.

Member Relations

• Foster strong relationships with members and cultivate a welcoming, high-energy racquet sports culture.
• Address member inquiries and concerns with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Plan and execute leagues, clinics, tournaments, camps, and social events.
• Drive member participation, engagement, and retention initiatives.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Support budget oversight and financial performance of racquet sports programs.
• Manage pro-shop inventory and merchandising.
• Oversee court scheduling systems and daily program logistics.

Qualifications:

• Certification from the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (formerly USPTA or PTR) preferred.
• Experience developing and managing racquet sports programs.
• Strong playing background with demonstrated instructional expertise.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal skills.
