The Racquets Professional will work under the Director of Racquets to deliver high-level instruction while maintaining a positive and professional presence with members. This is an active, visible role within the club and a great opportunity for a motivated professional, looking to grow their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and expanding racquets programming
• Teach private and group lessons (juniors, women’s teams, and adult clinics)
• Coach junior development and competitive players
• Lead and assist with adult tournaments and club events
• Oversee team practices and provide match feedback when needed
• Assist with court scheduling, lesson booking, and member communications
• Support light court maintenance and racquets facility upkeep
• Assist in the promotion and execution of racquets department special events and social programming
• Contribute positively to the club culture and member experience
• Additional responsibilities as directed by the Director of Racquets

Qualifications

• Ability to teach players of all ages and skill levels
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Certified Racquets Professional (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Experience coaching women’s competitive teams and 10 & Under Tennis preferred
• Minimum current playing level of 10 UTR / 5.0 USTA preferred
• RSPA Professional certification preferred
• Pickleball certification a plus
• Must be able to pass a CORI background check

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring stamina and conditioning to maintain a 30–35-hour weekly teaching schedule along with additional court duties.

Compensation

Compensation base starts at $40/hour; is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional summer employment opportunities may be available.
