The Professional /Advanced Jr. Pro would be responsible, but not limited to, junior development, instruction and management of the advanced junior tennis program at Charleston Tennis Club.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong playing ability, enthusiasm for teaching, excellent communication skills and a commitment for advancing the game of tennis among CTC's advanced junior players. The players under this Pro are often focused but not limited to, high school, collegiate and tournament player.
The idea candidate demonstrates a strong ability to develop, coach, support and mentor the junior player along with providing feedback to parents and other coaching staff.
This candidate will also have the opportunity to be compensated for providing general club lessons and clinics to all level players.
About Charleston Tennis Club
Charleston Tennis Club is in the South Hills area of Charleston, WV- celebrating 100 years in 2026. It is the region's premier racquet facility. The property includes six (6) indoor (12 pickleball) courts, two (2) outdoor hard courts, nine (9) har- tru courts and ten (10) outdoor pickleball courts. There is a 6-lane outdoor swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.
CTC offers club recreational play, USTA competitive team tennis, Junior Programs offered for beginners to intermediate level players. An advanced program is offered for the more serious junior player. The tennis program hosts multiple regional and national tennis and pickleball tournaments, as well as collegiate matches and junior tournament play.
