Hollow Rock Racquet & Swim Club is seeking a passionate and experienced coach to lead and elevate our Junior Competitive Pathway, with primary focus on the Select / High Performance program. This role works closely with the Director of Racquets to develop competitive players and strengthen the club’s performance structure.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead on-court development of Select / High Performance junior players
• Deliver high-level clinics, drills, and competitive training sessions
• Support player transition from Green Ball / Futures into the Select pathway • Assist in building individualized development plans
• Collaborate on curriculum and program structure
• Provide match play coaching and tournament preparation
• Support junior events and competitions
• Mentor staff within the competitive pathway
Organizational Structure
This role works alongside the Junior Development team and program leaders, with specific focus on the Competitive / Select pathway.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Strong background in junior competitive development
• Experience with tournament and high-performance players
• Former professional player or high-level college player preferred • Ability to run structured, high-intensity training sessions
• Leadership and team collaboration skills
• Strong communication with players and families

Hollow Rock Racquet & Swim Club is a member-owned private club located in Durham, North Carolina, serving the Triangle community with premier racquet sports and family-focused amenities. The club features 22 tennis courts (19 clay, 3 hard), 7 pickleball courts, a pool, fitness center, and active social programming.
Hollow Rock is widely recognized for its strong junior development pathway, engaged membership, and commitment to long-term player growth. With more than 100 active junior players, the club provides structured programming from introductory levels through high-performance and nationally competitive training.
