The Head Racquets Professional serves as the senior on-court leader of the Racquets program, responsible for the daily execution of instruction, programming, staff leadership, and member experience. Operating within the Racquet Sports ecosystem under the strategic direction of the Director of Racquet Sports, this role translates departmental vision into consistent, high-quality execution.
The position balances elite coaching ability with operational discipline, administrative ownership, and cross-department collaboration across Marketing, Membership, and Operations.
• Deliver high-level private and group tennis instruction for adults and juniors
• Execute Member and Resort private lessons, clinics, LiveBall formats, camps, leagues, tournaments, and social events
• Uphold coaching standards and instructional protocols
• Support seasonal and Resort signature programming
• Lead and mentor Assistant and Associate Tennis Professionals
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development
• Support weekly staffing schedules
• Oversee daily administrative functions
• Ensure accurate billing, enrollment, and revenue tracking
• Maintain organized program records
• Build trusted relationships with members and guests
• Deliver a welcoming, polished court environment
• Provide guidance on equipment and programming
• Partner with Marketing on promotion and calendars
• Collaborate with Membership on engagement initiatives
• USPTA or PTR Professional Certification
• USTA Safe Play approval
• CPR / AED / First Aid Certification
• PPR or equivalent pickleball certification preferred
Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
Commission-based teaching and programming income
