About GSET

GSET (Gabriel Sports Engineering for Tennis) is a high-performance tennis development program focused on integrating biomechanics, engineering, sports science, and elite-level coaching into athlete development. Our methodology, Pi Square, combines scientific principles with competitive tennis training to maximize player growth both on and off the court.

We work with players ranging from developing juniors to nationally ranked athletes, emphasizing technical excellence, competitive mindset, discipline, and long-term athlete development.

Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and motivated Assistant Coaches to join the GSET coaching team. This role is ideal for coaches who are eager to grow professionally, work in a high-performance environment, and learn a science-based approach to tennis development.

The Assistant Coach will support group practices, private lessons, competitive training sessions, and athlete development programs across our locations in Los Gatos, Cupertino, and Almaden.

Basic Requirements

• Passionate about tennis and athlete development
• Open to learning and applying the Pi Square methodology
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation to Los Gatos, Cupertino, and Almaden locations
• Ability to communicate professionally with players and parents
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
• Prior coaching or competitive playing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist lead coaches during practices and clinics
• Help organize drills and training sessions
• Support athlete development both technically and mentally
• Maintain a professional and energetic court presence
• Track player progress and communicate feedback when needed
• Uphold the standards and culture of GSET
