EGC is seeking to fill its Racquets Professional position to begin September 1 in 2026. The applicant should have integrity and a passion for teaching racquet sports to a variety of ages and skill levels. EGC has a very active racquets program with 9 tennis, 16 pickleball and 28 platform league teams. This role will include being responsible for helping with all racquet's operations, instructional programs and leagues while ensuring an exceptional member experience.

4 pickleball courts built in 2024
6 Har-Tru hydro tennis courts built in 2019
6 platform tennis courts and state of the art paddle facility built in 2022
Applicant Qualifications/Requirements
Tennis, pickleball and platform certification or experience preferred but not required.
Several years of coaching experience, including running programs and events.
Highly motivated to serve and teach the members of EGC and committed to providing an excellent member experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with members and staff.
Business and organizational skills (spreadsheets, court reservation software, POS systems).
Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Teaching‑oriented and creative with lesson planning and player development.
Strong background in doubles strategy.
Ability to market and promote programs to increase club engagement.

Benefits/Compensation ( Base Pay plus On Court hourly rate - opportunity for 80-90k)

Job Description
This position is a full-time year-round position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Report to the Director of Racquet Sports.
Assist with junior racquets programs under direction of Head Racquets Professional.
Leading and assisting in instructing tennis, pickle and platform programs.
Provide high‑quality private and group instruction for adults and juniors.
Help supervise and train seasonal staff.
Help with pro shop operations, racquet stringing, inventory, and merchandising.
Represents the club in teaching and competitive events.
Markets racquet activities and events to members.
Manages and/or assists in racquet related events.
Attends staff meetings and racquets functions.
Maintains accurate record of all lesson activity for payroll.
Maintains a close working relationship with other club professionals.
Administers and enforces club rules and policies.
Coordinates with other departments (food & beverage) for club events.
Maintains member relations and ensures outstanding customer service.
