This is a paid internship at Chicago's premier Clay Court facility, Lincoln Park Tennis Association/Diversey Tennis Center

Responsibilities include:

1.) Daily maintenance of 10 Har-Tru clay tennis courts.

2.) Opening up the facility on a daily basis (5am start).

3.) Mid-day maintenance on public and private sides, which includes grooming, lining and watering at noontime.

4.) Supervision of opening staff.

5.) Makes sure all equipment is working properly and maintained.

6.) Helps with daily activities on the member and public sides, places water jugs on courts, assigns courts, customer service, etc. Light computer knowledge needed. 

7.) Maintains all grounds areas which includes mowing the lawns, edging, landscaping, watering the flowers and leaf/debris pickup.

8.) Responsible for all minor repairs of equipment and plumbing.

9.)  Responsible for closing and weatherproofing the club in the fall.

-Knowledge of clay court maintenance methods, and irrigation systems a plus.
