Summary: Cape Fear Country Club is seeking a Head Racquet Professional to assist with racquet programming and provide high-quality membership experience. This position is ideal for a racquet professional with strong customer service, 5+ years of instructional ability, prior experience managing and operating a full calendar of events, and passion to provide first class operations to our membership. The individual will assist the Director of Racquets in management of all facilities and activities.
· Candidate must be USTA, RSPA or PTR Certified.
· Work with the Director of Racquets and staff to develop a detailed annual calendar of racquet activities and applicable promotion campaigns during the year.
· Enthusiastically encourage racquet participation by planning events and programs to promote sport and fellowship at the Club.
· Team Oriented-Help supervise and train other tennis professionals and shop staff employees.
· Assist the Director of Racquets in preparing annual and monthly budget and operating calendar.
· Administer and enforce racquet policies and procedures regarding play on Club courts.
· String racquets and perform other light equipment repairs.
· Provide group/individual lessons, camps, and clinics of all ages. Juniors 3-18. Adults NTRP 2.5-5.0.
· Represent the club/facility in professional racquet activities on site and off site.
· Lead and/or attend staff meetings as directed by the Director of Tennis.
· Work closely with all departments to develop a positive experience and fluid operations.
· Lead and guide staff professionals with adult and junior programming including tennis and pickleball.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will be reliable and comfortable working under the Director of Racquets, as Head Professional, with two staff professionals and eight shop assistants. The individual should have great time management and communication skills to excel in this role. Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a racquet professional, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates will have a strong desire to provide excellent service to our membership. All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the Club’s mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch.

Compensation: Salary/Commission/Bonus-Estimated $75,000-$95,000
