The Parker Racquet Club is seeking a motivated and energetic Tennis Professional to assist in delivering an exceptional racquet experience to our members and guests. The Tennis Professional will immediately receive assistant adult and junior on court hours, as they look to organize and build their lesson base, while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all players.
Essential Functions
• Provide high-quality group and private tennis instruction for adults and juniors.
• Assist in planning and executing adult and junior programs.
• Communicate regularly with the Director of Jr. Tennis, and the General Manager.
• Supervise adult mixers, match play, and other on-court programming.
• Maintain accurate records of court reservations and lesson appointments.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tennis facility.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in department initiatives.
• Support the Tennis Director with other duties as assigned.
Licenses & Special Requirements
• Certification or working towards it, with either the Racquet Sports Professional Association (RSPA) or the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
• NTRP rating of 4.5 or higher.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Must possess sufficient stamina to teach for several consecutive hours.
• Requires continuous standing, walking, running, bending, stooping, and repetitive movement.
• Frequent use of light machinery, ball machines, and hand-held teaching aids.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed.
