We are seeking an energetic, expert, and highly motivated full-time Tennis to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, engaging instruction to players of all ages and skill levels, from young beginners to competitive youth and adult athletes. The ideal candidate will foster player confidence, support our rapidly expanding tennis programming, and champion an inclusive, sportsmanship-driven community culture both on and off the court.
Key Responsibilities
- Player Instruction: Lead dynamic private lessons and structured group classes using creative, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Player Development: Motivate and challenge athletes, providing consistent personalized feedback, technical corrections, and formal progress reports.
- Evaluations & Goal Setting: Complete routine player assessments and recommend tailored goal-setting frameworks to guide long-term athletic development.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development trainings, and club events to support a collaborative team culture.
- Operations & Safety: Maintain court readiness, manage equipment setups, and strictly enforce company safety, maintenance, and inclusion policies.
- Culture Champion: Model exceptional sportsmanship, discipline, and inclusion, serving as a positive ambassador for the sport and the club.
Qualifications & Experience
- Coaching Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of tennis coaching experience, with a proven track record of managing both youth and adult demographics.
- Playing Proficiency: Strong playing background preferred (NTRP 5.0+ or UTR 12 equivalent).
- Certifications: Professional certifications from accredited organizations (e.g., USPTA, PTR) are highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional sports management experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt coaching styles to various learning speeds.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a non-traditional full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate peak programming hours.
